Two of Pencarrow Stud's two-year-old fillies were successful in their trials at Cambridge today, both under the tutelage of Te Akau Stables' Mark Walker.

Taking the first trial of the morning was the Redoute's Choice filly from Christie's Beach (Naturalism). Ridden by Samantha Collett over 650m, it was the filly's first ever trial which she handled without fuss to win well by a neck.

In the heat immediately following her stablemate was the grey Pencarrow Stud-bred Reset filly, out of six-time winning O'Reilly mare Marie Claire. Also guided by Samantha Collett, this time she won impressively by six lengths. Having run second in her two previous trials, she will now look to head to a qualifying trial in three weeks' time.
