Busy Day for Pencarrow Stud at Karaka
01 Feb 2005After a buoyant first day’s selling at the 2005 New Zealand Bloodstock 79th National Yearling Sales Series Premier Session, Pencarrow Stud will offer ten yearlings today including a possible sales topper, in a Danehill colt out of Beyond the Sunset (by Gone West). Lot 295 is a close relation to Champion racehorse and sire Seattle Slew (by Bold Reasoning).

Pencarrow Stud sold four yearlings yesterday for an average of $242,500. This is the second highest average after 174 lots. Pencarrow Stud has an aggregate of $970,000 and this is the fifth highest aggregate after 174 lots. At the 2004 New Zealand Bloodstock 78th National Yearling Sales Series Premier Session, Pencarrow Stud was the leading vendor by average.
