Noble Manor Wins In Singapore


Noble ManorSmart Pencarrow Stud-bred galloper Noble Manor, pictured, has made a winning entry into the Singapore racing scene.

Noble Manor, who is raced by Mark Wyborn, Trevor Farmer, and and Peter and Philip Vela, got home in the novice 1200m event in the hands of leading Singapore jockey Saimee Jumaat.

Noble Manor is by Stravinsky from former top racemare Sarwatch, a daughter of Pencarrow's outstanding racehorse and broodmare Riverina Charm.

Sarwatch was New Zealand Filly Of The Year in her three-year-old racing season. Her most notable victories were recorded in the Group 2 ARC Royal Stakes, Group 3 Highview Stakes at Hastings and Listed ARC Soliloquy Stakes.

A narrow winner, Noble Manor is trained by five-time champion Singapore trainer, expatriate Kiwi Laurie Laxon who has enjoyed a successful and long association with the Velas of Pencarrow Stud.
