Fastnet Rock Tops Pencarrow Yearling Draft

The Fastnet Rock x Affirmed Lane colt was the highest-priced yearling sold by Pencarrow Stud at the 2008 New Zealand Bloodstock Yearling Sales at Karaka.
The colt was purchased by the Premier Sale's second leading buyer David Ellis of Te Akau Stud.
He is a half-brother to multiple Group winner J'Adane and is among the first crop of his sire, Fastnet Rock.
Pencarrow Stud was the fifth leading vendor (by aggregate) at the Premier Sale with 14 lots sold for $3,515,000. This represented an average price of $251,071.
