Huluava Another Pins Winner for Pencarrow

While Pencarrow-bred Tintern was winning across the Tasman on Wednesday, back at home his sire Pins was also represented by the Pencarrow-bred Huluava in the winners circle.

Trained by Mark Walker, Huluava made it three wins from her nine raceday outings when she won the Rating 80 1600m event at Te Rapa by three-quarters of a length.

The four-year-old filly from Zabeel mare Alpine, is a half-sister to stakes winning filly Vercors (by Catbird).

Pencarrow Stud sold the yearling half-brother by Spartacus for $100,000 at the recent Premier Sale at Karaka.
