Well-bred mare Bartolomeo has produced her first foal - a bay colt by Commands - at Pencarrow Stud.

"The foal is a very nice type for a maiden mare," said Leon Casey of Pencarrow Stud.

Bartolomeo is a grand-daughter of Riverina Charm, daughter of the Group 2 race winner Paolino and a half-sister to the stakes-winning Mirandola.
