Kudamm Targets Cuddle Stakes

In-form Pencarrow Stud-owned mare Kudamm will be on trial at Wednesday's Te Aroha meeting for a start in the Group 3 Cuddle Stakes at Trentham on Melbourne Cup day (November 4).

Kudamm has won two of her last three starts and trainer Mark Walker expects her to prove very hard to beat at the Te Aroha meeting where she lines up in the 8th race, the Donaghy's Lesson 1600m at 3.40pm.

Kudamm will be ridden by Opie Bosson who heads off to Melbourne this weekend to ride star mare Princess Coup in the Cox Plate.

Kudamm will be joined in Wednesday's race by stablemate and fellow Pencarrow-bred galloper Don Garcia who has the services of Noel Harris.

The other Pencarrow Stud-owned runner at Te Aroha on Wednesday will be Keepers Tally who lines up in the fourth race, the Stanish Signs 2100, which gets underway at 1.29pm. Keepers Tally will be ridden by Reese Jones.
