The handy performer, Promethean (Grand Lodge x Sarwatch) has produced her first foal - a bay filly by five-time Gr. 1 winner Darci Brahma - at Pencarrow Stud on Tuesday afternoon.

Stud manager Leon Casey said there was no doubt the high-class racehorse Darci Brahma was stamping his progeny as a sire.

"Both foals born on the farm by Darci (Brahma) have been bays and very much in his mould," Casey said.

Promethean was the winner of three races from Richard Yuill's stable and showed plenty of class during her racing career.
