Grand Echezeaux, the dam of five-time Group 1 winner Darci Brahma, has produced a bay colt at Pencarrow Stud.
The colt is by boom sire Redoute's Choice.
Grand Echezeaux is one of the star members of the powerful broodmare band at Pencarrow Stud.
On the racetrack she was successful at Group 1 level in the Australasian Oaks in Adelaide as a three-year-old.
At stud she has made her mark in no uncertain terms as the dam of New Zealand Sprinter Of The Year of 2006/07, Darci Brahma.
The winner of 10 races including 5 Gr. 1 events, Darci Brahma now stands at The Oaks Stud in Cambridge.
