Dunkel (NZ)

The most recent addition to the Pencarrow Group One graduates list is Dunkel (NZ) (Dundeel), who was offered as part of Pencarrow Stud’s Book 1 draft at Karaka 2021. He was bought for $40,000 and has turned that into almost A$700,000 in prize-money as of writing, with six wins from nine career starts headed by the Group One South Australian Derby (2500m) in May.

Dunkel was the last foal out of Cape Cross mare Kudamm (AUS), the dam of five foals to race, all winners.
