Pencarrow Stud’s foaling season has begun with the stud welcoming its first foal, a healthy filly by More Than Ready from Insouciant on Tuesday night, 3 August.

It is the first foal for Insouciant (Keeper x Loudenne), winner of the Group 1 New Zealand Bloodstock One Thousand Guineas and 2007/2008 New Zealand Bloodstock Filly of the Year, and she is booked to visit O’Reilly this season.

Having lost Insouciant's dam Loudenne (Palace Music) last year, the stud has retained Inniskillen (Centaine) and an unnamed three-year-old filly by Van Nistelrooy. Inniskillen is due to foal to Darci Brahma this year.
