The final foal of the 2019 season has arrived with the delivery of Vercors colt by Vadamos. Vercors was a stakes winning performer in the Pencarrow colours. She currently has two very promising off spring racing in the stud colours, Vichy & Megeve.
Posavina foaled a very athletic colt by Group One winner Tivaci. This colt carries a duplication of Danehill and Sadler's Wells on both sides of his pedigree, a similar cross to Rasa Lila. Posavina's yearling colt by American Pharaoh was bought by Chris Waller at Karaka for $575,000 in January 2020.
Huluava has produced an impressive filly by promising young sire Belardo. This is the great Belle family that has produced Hasselhoof, Vercors, and current performer Vichy for Pencarrow Stud.
Persuasive has produced a quality filly by Group one winning miler Vadamos out of a five time-winning Darci Brahma mare. This filly looks like a natural staying type as you would expect from a pedigree that contains the influence of Monson, Montjeu, Zabeel & Danehill.
Key to Dance has produced an impressive colt by Vadamos. This mare's elite pedigree is complimented by an ability to produce a very attractive type. She will be bred to Ocean Park this year.
Mojave Aster has foaled an imposing colt by proven sire Zacinto. This Zabeel mare won three times and is a sister to multiple Group Two winner Lafleur. She was served by Almazour in 2019.
Floating heart has delivered her first foal, a filly by proven sire Star Witness. This is the famed Eight Carat family descending through the great sprinter Habibti. Floating Heart will be bred to Darci Brahma this year.
Black-type performer Rasa Lila has foaled a colt by leading international sire Iffraaj. Her first foal is a filly by Lohnro who was sold for $175,000 at Karaka in January 2020. Rasa Lila was bred to US Navy Flag in the spring.
Vandenne has foaled an attractive colt by promising sire Sacred Falls. Making a promising start to her stud career, her first foal sold for $380,000 and has won 6 times including once as a two-year-old.
Pencarrow mare Stanica has delivered her last foal, an impressive colt by Vadamos. Stanica is now 19 years old and will retire from breeding and live out her retirement at Pencarrow Stud.
Stakes-winning mare Papilio has delivered a quality filly by Almanzor. This prolific family produces top fillies so it would be no surprise to see this filly excel in the future. Papilio has been served by US Navy Flag.
Group Two winner Dolmabache foaled an outstanding colt by Pierro in 2019. This colt is bred on the Pierro/Redoute's Choice cross that has already produced six individual stakes winners. Dolmabache was subsequently bred to Eminent.
Montjeu mare Ruppertsberg has foaled an attractive colt by promising sire Burgundy. A half to champion 3YO Clear Rose and Singapore galloper Sky Rocket.
Makarska has delivered a striking filly by Satono Aladdin. Her first foal is an impressive colt by Flying Artie who will be part of the Pencarrow Stud draft for Karaka 2020.
Young mare Wildflower has produced her first foal, a colt by Champion Sprinter Caravaggio. From the well-established Pencarrow family, this colt descends from the great sprinting mare Habibti. She subsequently visited Ace High.
Assume has delivered a quality filly by Triple Crown hero, American Pharoah. Her first foal, a filly by Frankel, sold for $500,000 at the Karaka Premier Sale. Assume then visited US Navy Flag.
Fair Isle has delivered a very attractive colt by Tavistock with an interesting pedigree combining the established crosses of Sadler's Wells and Danehill, as well as Tavistock and Zabeel. Her first foal Zacouver (by Vancouver) is already a winner for Leon & Troy Corstens. Fair Isle subsequently visited Justify.
Encosta de Lago mare Echezeaux delivered an impressive colt by leading sire Tavistock in 2019. Her first foal is a Snitzel filly which has been retained to race in the Stud colours. She was served by US Navy Flag in the spring.
Outstanding racemare Darcybee has foaled a strapping colt by Tarzino. Her All Too Hard filly Balletopia is currently in training with Gai Waterhouse in Sydney.
Cerberus has foaled an imposing colt by promising young sire Tivaci. This mare has made a promising start to her breeding career with her first two foals Silver Cloud and Suspense.
Montjeu mare Orquidea has foaled an impressive colt by promising sire Zacinto. His half-sister yearling filly by Redoute's Choice sold for $220,000 at the Karaka Premier Sale last year.
Exceed and Excel mare Biddable has delivered a very attractive filly by Shamexpress. Being the granddaughter of the great Ethereal, Biddable will visit Rip Van Winkle this season.
Zabeel mare Dark And Stormy delivered her first foal in 2019, a bay colt by outstanding sprinter Caravaggio. This colt represents a merging of two dominant lines from either hemisphere through Zabeel and Scat Daddy.
Kudamm has delivered an impressive colt by the sire of the moment in Dundeel. The Group-performed mare has made a good start to her breeding career producing four-time winner Remington. She then visited Ocean Park.
Skywards continued a run of colts on the farm when she delivered her strapping son by Vadamos in 2019. Representing one of the Stud's foundation families, Skywards has subsequently visited Darci Brahma.
The granddaughter of Ethereal - High Chaparral mare Quintessentially - produced her first foal, a quality colt by Turn Me Loose, in 2019. The mare has since visited young sire Tarzino.
Impressive racetrack performer Miss Scarlatti delivered an imposing colt by Almanzor in 2019. The mare visited exciting stallion prospect Harry Angel in the spring.
Opito Bay foaled a quality filly by leading sire Darci Brahma. This filly is bred on the same Sadler's Wells/Darci Brahma cross as Gust of Wind, Catalyst and Pencarrow Stud's Rasa Lila.
Talented racemare Velvet And Satin foaled an impressive colt by Vadamos in 2019. The mare is a half-sister to Ethereal with the Stud having retained her yearling filly by Redoute's Choice. Velvet and Satin has re-visited Vadamos.
Salkantay foaled this strapping filly by Almanzor in 2019. This Zabeel mare is from one of the central families of the Stud, having produced Hong Kong performer Smiling Touch.
Barbadine delivered this imposing colt by Charm Spirit in 2019. The mare made a good start to her breeding career having been represented by dual winner Badea and recent Group 3 winning filly Lilikoi, also by Charm Spirit.
Fond Du Coeur produced this very impressive filly by outstanding young sire prospect Churchill. A very pleasing effort for a maiden mare, she went on to be served by Eminent.
The beautifully bred mare, Cote D'Or, foaled this classy filly by leading sire Tavistock in 2019. A stakeswinner in her own right, this young mare is a half-sister to stakeswinners Dolmabache and Pure Elegance.
Star Jasmine has produced a notable filly by young sire Vadamos. Having already produced a black-type performer, she will be bred to exciting young sire Eminent this season.
This striking bay colt by leading sire Tavistock is out of the Group 1 Telegraph Handicap (1200m) winner Guiseppina. She has a US Navy Flag filly foal on the ground, and was bred to Snitzel in 2020.
Palace Gardens started her broodmare career in promising fashion by producing this eye-catching Lohnro colt. She was then the first Pencarrow mare to visit exciting new sire US Navy Flag.
Paris produced her second foal, a filly by promising sire Shamexpress. Her first foal is a filly by Pins and has been retained to race by the stud, with this mare booked to Iffraaj in 2019.
Group 1 performer Scintillula delivered one of the stars of the 2019 season with the arrival of her lovely filly by Zoustar. Her Savabeel filly was purchased by Dean Hawthorne for $800,000 at Karaka in January 2019.
Corinthia delivered the first foal of the 2019 season. A striking bay filly by the highly promising young sire, Charm Spirit. This O'Reilly mare is from the famed Eight Carat family.
